LaVar Ball is hoping for some peace and quiet this year.
The businessman, 53, will be gifting everyone on his Christmas list pieces from his Big Baller Brand clothing and merchandise line — “They know every present they get is gonna have some Bs on them,” he told Page Six Style — but his request is a bit more simple.
“I want a dozen donuts and two gallons of milk. And I wanna sit in a room by myself and don’t nobody disturb me for at least two hours,” the boisterous father of three famous basketball players — Lonzo, 23, LiAngelo, 22, and LaMelo, 19 — said.
On a serious note, he added, “When you get to be 50-something years old, all the presents been done 20 years ago. Now, what’s better than presents is time with your family. That’s what people need to cherish.”
Though 2020 has been rough for tons of families who have been unable to spend time together amid the coronavirus pandemic, the proud father said he got to spend extra time with his sons at home before Lonzo and LaMelo took part in the NBA bubble.
“They was all training together and it took me back to when they were younger,” he said. “There was nowhere to go so we played Dominos, Monopoly. It reminded me of when they were in high school.”
Despite the boy’s competitive nature, LaVar isn’t one to give up his own claim as the head of the household, even in a friendly board game competition. He claimed, “Big Baller never lost!”
